Character Analysis
To analyze a character you must pay close attention to:
* what a character says
* how a character acts
* what a character thinks
* what others say about that character
We discussed the differences between a character's physical traits and internal traits.
There are two types of characters in a book Dynamic characters and Static characters.
Dynamic characters experience a change throughout the plot of a story. Main characters are usually dynamic characters.
Static characters do not experience any changes in their personalities, but often, in some way, help the main character change.
We looked at our Dan Gutman books and analyzed which characters experienced a change. It turns out, the main characters all changed throughout the story! Below are pictures of us working on our main character posters together and pictures of the final product.
